Shifen Waterfall, renowned as the "Niagara Falls of Taiwan," is a prestigious natural landmark in the Pingxi District of New Taipei City. Situated on the upper reaches of the Keelung River—an area famous for its numerous waterfalls—the rushing waters cascade down with a breathtaking grandeur. The vast, deep pool below is often shrouded in mist, which refracts the sunlight to create shimmering rainbows, earning it the beautiful nickname "Rainbow Pond."

十分老街主要特色在於老街和火車鐵軌是相連的，可以體驗「火車門前過」的新奇感受，以及走在鐵軌旁逛街的趣味。老街相當熱鬧多元，還能買一盞天燈寫下心願替自己與親友祈福；鄰近老街的靜安吊橋是遊客駐足取景留影的好地方。

The main charm of Shifen Old Street lies in the seamless integration of the street and the railway tracks. 猴硐在日治時期，曾密切建立煤礦產業發展，最初由台灣五大家族之一的基隆顏家與日本人合設炭礦，著力於此地之煤礦開採，曾成為台灣產量最大的單一煤礦的礦區。煤礦停止開採後，居民及政府共同推動保存礦業選煤廠及周圍設施，在此您可見到煤礦產業留下的遺跡。

如今猴硐已褪去當年風華；不過，社區的貓咪，卻因當地居民的友善照料及義工的努力付出，變成這個小鎮的焦點，還曾獲CNN推薦為全球六大賞貓景點。這裡的貓咪溫和親人、絲毫不怕生，逗趣的模樣，讓來訪遊客充滿驚喜。
